Due to a recent transfer in the group we currently have an opening for a Sr Accountant. The duties of a Sr. Accountant in the Intercompany Accounting Department. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing accounting transactions related to PHI's cost allocation policies as reported to governing regulatory authorities in the PHI Cost Allocation Manual (CAM) and Service Agreement. Assists in the preparation of Company responses to external audit and data requests, initiated by regulatory authorities that focus on cost allocations and direct charging from PHI Service Company. Responsible for accounting transactions prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and FERC. Ensures that the accounting transactions / calculations performed are compliant with SOX internal controls.
